Hole 3B was recognized by golf.com for its natural beauty and the challenge it presents to golfers. In recent days, this site recognized the famous "Tail of the Whale" in Punta Mita among the best 11 greens in the world located on an island. The 194-yard hole is the only one in our country that appears in this ranking.
The publication notes: "This par-optional, known as "Tail of the Whale," scores points not only for its stunning views of the Sierra Madre Mountains, but also for its unique element of adventure. After their tee shots on the mainland, golfers travel to the green via an amphibious vehicle. It is the only island green in the world where the Pacific Ocean serves as the water trap.
